We’ve got a soft spot for classic 35mm film shots, bringing a touch of nostalgia to your wedding memories. Alongside us, our skilled team of photographers and videographers is there to capture every moment. Whether it’s Pavel or Vera leading the crew, we ensure a personal touch at every wedding. With over 14 years of experience, we’ve covered weddings all across Australia.
PAVEL
With 14 years in wedding photography and with his love for technology Pavel brings extensive knowledge to the team. Pavel’s passion for photography started when he was 17 years old and inherited his first analog camera Zenith-E from his father. He deepened his knowledge by studying Art School in Prague, later on, he lived in Cambridge and London and worked in the marketing and design department but it wasn’t until 2010 that Pavel became a professional wedding photographer.
Pavel’s style is very unique and emotive with a strong emphasis on storytelling.
In 2017 he discovered his love for film, and with Vera, they established White Parrot providing their couples with photography and video services. Since then his and Vera’s work has been recognised by many international and local magazines such as To The Aisle Australia, White Magazine, Polka Dot Wedding, The Wedding Playbook, Scenic Rim Bride etc.
Pavel loves chill-out music and spending time with his family and son Luke.
VERA
Born in Prague and having visited many historical cities such as Vienna, Barcelona, Venice, Lago di Garda etc., Vera was always drawn to art and architecture. After spending over a decade in the corporate world, she finally decided to pursue her passion for capturing moments that last forever. Vera’s approach is to tell the authentic story about the couple and their day through the photos and at the same time she loves capturing all the tiny details that could be easily missed. Her goal is to leave you with the most beautiful photos that whisper love, happiness and fine art. With her background in business administration and finances, Vera also contributes to the team with her strong organisation skills, communicating with couples leading up to their wedding day, creating a timeline and making sure there are no issues.
Vera loves travelling, walking on the beach, drinking coffee and interior design.
